A handwritten note from a wartime photo album identifies an accompanying image as a Japanese aircraft destroyed at Clark Field, Luzon, either shot down in the air or strafed while parked on the ground. Clark Field was one of the most heavily contested airbases in the Philippines campaign, repeatedly targeted by 345th Bombardment Group strafer aircraft during the 1944-1945 liberation effort.
