The Beechcraft AT-7 Navigator, a military adaptation of the civilian Model 18 'Twin Beech,' trained thousands of U.S. Army Air Forces navigators during World War II in celestial and dead-reckoning navigation. Redesignated the T-7, the type remained in service training navigators and bombardiers into the Korean War era, when this photograph -- from the Lt. Bancroft collection -- was preserved.
