This 1942 scrapbook page documents a Civilian Pilot Training class and its instructor, Evelyn Sharp, who later became one of the original Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP). Sharp was killed in April 1944 when the P-38 Lightning she was ferrying crashed, one of 38 WASP pilots who died in service during World War II. Project: 218187
