WWII Scrapbook Page: E.P. McAleer's Driver's Permit, Red Cross Certificate, and Cockpit Photograph, VMF-441

This scrapbook page from the personal album of Marine aviator E.P. McAleer preserves original wartime documents, including a 1944 government vehicle permit issued while serving with Marine Fighter Squadron VMF-441 in the Marshall Islands, an earlier 1942 Red Cross first aid certificate from Navy pre-flight training, and a photograph of the pilot in his fighter's cockpit. Together they trace one Marine aviator's journey from stateside flight training to combat service in the Pacific during World War II. Project: 218186
