The Scott Field Radio School curriculum progressed from fundamentals to advanced application. Students began with basic circuit theory using breadboard oscillator layouts, advanced through large classroom code drills at eight words per minute, and ultimately trained on the high-power transmitters carried aboard Army Air Forces aircraft.
