An aerial photograph taken from a US Navy aircraft shows a Japanese warship, possibly the battleship Yamato, steaming at sea. This image is part of the Francis R. Ferry collection documenting the climactic actions against Yamato during Operation Ten-Go in April 1945, when US carrier aircraft sank the largest battleship ever built. Project: 218122
