This 1979 page from the Air Apache Journal, newsletter of the 345th Bombardment Group Association, documents a reunion banquet at the Peterson Officers Club in Colorado Springs. Photographs capture aging WWII veterans and their spouses -- including retired General Crabb and members of the 498th, 499th, and 501st Bomb Squadrons -- gathered decades after their wartime service.
